STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 13, ARTSAKHPRESS: “Let’s hope the document will be signed this year, and we will live under a new customs law as of January 1, 2016,” Goshin stated during a press conference in the Kazakh capital city of Astana. He added that a transition to e-document circulation will be an innovation of this agreement.

“The second important innovation is the automatic entry of goods without the involvement of a customs inspector,” Goshin noted. In his words, the new customs code also specifies that the information on exports and imports will be provided solely as a customs declaration. To note, Armenia, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan are members in the Eurasian Economic Union, and Kyrgyzstan’s accession is expected in May.
