In Stepanakert Center of Culture named after Charles Aznavour a concert dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was held.
The Concerts of "Mrakats" Chamber Choir in 2015 will be Dedicated to the Memory of Armenian Genocide Victims
STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 13, ARTSAKHPRESS: Artsakh State Chamber Choir "Mrakats" and the Choir of Stepanakert Center of Children’s and Youth Creativity took part in the event.
The Choir conductor Marine Mesropyan told in the interview with "Artsakhpress", that the concerts of "Mrakats" Chamber Choir in 2015 would be dedicated to the memory of Armenian Genocide victims. The concert program includes works by Pergolesi, Mozart, Schubert, Verdi , as well as several requiems.
"The purpose of the event is to express the necessity of the Armenian Genocide recognition through music. Our choir will perform this program in all regions of NKR," Marine Mesropyan noted, adding that they had already held a joint performance with the children's choir.
"Children are so trained, talented, that they have no difficulties to act with a professional choir. We are encouraged by the fact that the younger generation shows great promise today," concluded the conductor.
