The Armenian choir Speghani (remedy) has returned with honors and awards from a recent international festival held in Florence, Italy, the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia informed.

STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 11, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Armenian participants won the first prize in the two different nominations for performing songs by Komitas, as well as medieval music and works by Armenian and Italian composers. The choir was also honored with special awards for “The Best Performance of Renaissance-era Italian Composers” and “The Best Stage Clothing,”.
The event, which ran from 22 through 24 July, brought together 20 choirs from different countries.
The concerts were held in the magnificent halls of Florence.
