On September 30, by the initiation of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh an international nursing conference dedicated to “Nursing. Education aimed at Nurses and Patients' Safety and Results of Treatment” held at the Stepanakert Culture and Youth palace.

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 30, ARTSAKHPRESS: The conference was attended by more than 500 members of the medical profession from Artsakh and Armenia, as well as 25 honored nurse teachers, who arrived from the US, Europe, Asia, and CIS countries.
Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan highlighted the importance of the conference held in Artsakh.
The President expressed confidence that the conference will have a positive impact on the development of the healthcare sector, noting that in the healthcare sector the efficiency of material and technical investment,first of all, is conditioned by skilled and qualified professionals.
Welcoming the Artsakh, Armenian and Foreign participants, Haroutyun Koushkyan, Minister of Healthcare of NKR, noted that the International Nursing Conference will have an effect on primary tasks of healthcare, contributing to the development of nursing quality in Artsakh.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, the Head of the NKR "Union of Nurses' Association and the Chief Nurse of the " Republican Medical Center " CJSC Lilia Movsisyan and other representatives partook in the conference.
