The Military Investigation General Department of Armenia has opened a criminal case into the killing—by Azerbaijan—of two servicemen of the Armenian armed forces.

Criminal case launched on 2 Armenian soldiers’ killing by Azerbaijan

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 13, ARTSAKHPRESS: Armenian News-NEWS.am informed, referring to the Investigative Committee that the criminal case has been launched on charges of murder based on national, racial or religious hatred, or religious fanaticism.

Privates Vahe Vanoyan (born in 1995) and Mikayel Torosyan (born in 1996) had sustained fatal gunshot wounds from the shots fired by Azerbaijan, on Thursday at around 9pm.

They were fatally wounded at the military base of the protection area of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army unit, which is stationed in a southerly direction.

An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident.
