Anniversary of Sumgait massacres commemorated in Stepanakert
On 28 February in connection with the twenty six anniversary of the Sumgait massacre President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan accompanied by primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirossyan, President of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulian, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Karen Mirzoyan and other top officials of the republic visited the Stepanakert Memorial Complex and laid flowers to the monument of the innocent victims of those events.
Today in all regions of Artsakh events will be held to commemorate the victims of the Sumgait pogroms.
