The OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs are deeply concerned over the information of human rights violation that occurred during the military operations of Azerbaijan in Nagorno Karabakh.
Co-chairs ask ICRC to investigate civilian deaths and vandalization of their bodies
STEPANAKERT, APRIL 9, ARTSAKHPRESS: OSCE Minsk Group American Co-chair James Warlick told about this in a meeting with journalists, answering the following question of “Armenpress” reporter, “How do the Co-chairs assess the cases of civilian murders and vandalization of bodies of killed soldiers and civilians by Azerbaijani armed forces and merceneries?”
“We have seen the photos and have information about it. We have raised this issue in the capitals as well. I would like to reiterate that we are deeply concerned over any incident of human rights violation”, Warlick mentioned.
He also informed that during their meetings with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross the Co-chairs have touched upon this issue and asked them to closely investigate the recorded incidents.
