Martakert returns back to its former in short period of time

The Prime Minister of Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan visited Martakert on April 12 and hold a meeting related to the solution of problems caused by the adversary’s bombardment in the region on April 2-5, informed the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government Office of Artsakh.

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 13, ARTSAKHPRESS: Prime Minister became familiar with the details of damaged houses, infrastructures, as well as with the injuries of citizens in terms of other property and equipment that happened in Martakert, as well as in Mataghis and Talish as a result of the adversary’s bombardment in April.

Harutyunyan stated that intensive works have already been conducted by the Government, and after several days the damages of citizens will be mainly restored in Martakert city, and a respective compensation will be granted in respect to household property and equipment.

“Martakert should return back to its former life in a short period of time, and we should put all our efforts for that. I would like to urge all citizens of Martakert to return back to their daily life. I assure you that the borders are strong, the enemy will not overcome the consequences of our army’s counter attack for a long time,” said the Prime Minister.  

A. Harutyunyan thanked all those public servants who stayed in their places during the time of crisis and conscientiously performed their duties.

Prime Minster visited also Martakert hospital, met with the hospital staff, became aware of the works done and thanked the staff for the devotion which they showed during the military operations.  

Then the Prime Minister visited the frontline, and has been in one of the positions which is located in the northern part of the Republic and which became the target during the heavy clashes. Arayik Harutyunyan was interested in the service of soldiers and thanked them for the valor and for keeping safely the border of the homeland.

A. Harutyunyan also visited Kashen deposit operated by the “Base Metals” firm and got acquainted with the activities of the leader in the industry sector in the Republic. “I am happy that regardless of the latest situation tension this big firm continued its work guaranteeing the smooth progress of the economy. Our economy should progress, and nothing can hinder the development of Artsakh,” said the Prime Minister.
