Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who is on a working visit in New York City, on Wednesday attended an event devoted to the 25th anniversary of independence of Armenia, NEWS.am reports.
Armenia MFA: Each September 21 of this quarter century has been unique test
STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 22, ARTSAKHPRESS: The function was held at St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral, the Seat of Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern).
Marking the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, an exhibition of 25 paintings by 25 famous Armenian artists was held in the halls of the diocesan seat.
In addition, Armenian musicians performed works of numerous famous Armenian composers.
And speaking at the event, Nalbandian specifically noted: “Each and every September 21 of this quarter century has been a unique test on the road to establishment of the new Armenian statehood."
