Warlick: We hope Armenia, Azerbaijan presidents will agree to hold next meeting

In the run-up to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group co-chairs’ visit to the region, Ambassador James Warlick, US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, expressed the hope that the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan—Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev—will agree to hold a regular meeting toward resolving the Karabakh conflict.

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 4, ARTSAKHPRESS: As NEWS.am reports, Warlick told RIA Novosti news agency of Russia that the co-chairs hope that the presidents will agree to hold the next meeting, but added that the date and location of this talk have not yet been determined.

In his words, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are working with the parties to the conflict, and to resolve it.

James Warlick stated that they plan to meet and discuss the respective matters with the parties, during their slated visit to the region, at the end of October.
