FM: Italy supports OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ efforts to resolve Karabakh conflict

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 8, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, who is on an official visit to Armenia, stated the aforesaid at Tuesday’s news conference in capital city Yerevan, NEWS.am reports.

Recalling that Italy will assume the chairmanship of OSCE in the future, the Italian FM noted that Rome attaches great importance to the settlement of “frozen” conflicts.

“Italy maintains that the Karabakh conflict shall be resolved through peaceful and diplomatic means,” stressed Gentiloni. “We don’t want to see hostilities in the region."
