Ahead “Telethon-2016”, under the slogan “My Artsakh”, Deputy Prime Minister of the NKR Arthur Aghabekyan and Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan are in the Unites States of America and continue to meet the representatives of local Armenian organizations.

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 23, ARTSAKHPRESS: As "Artsakhpress" reports, Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Aghabekyan and Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan met with the Board of Directors of the Armenian Assembly of America. Arthur Aghabekyan, on behalf of the Artsakh government, thanked the leadership of the Assembly for supporting Artsakh. Deputy Prime Minister drew the attention of the attendees to those issues, which are at this stage more important for security and socio-economic development of Artsakh.
The sides also discussed a number of economic and political issues between Artsakh and the United States. The representatives of the Armenian Assembly of America have stressed the importance of projects implemented in Artsakh by the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund, and in that context, expressed their willingness to support the "Telethon-2016", aimed at the restoration of the affected settlements of Artsakh.
Deputy Prime Minister Aghabekyan and Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan also met with members of the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) Central Executive Board.
In his speech, Aghabekyan thanked the responsibles of the organizations for carrying out regular charitable programs in Artsakh .
During the meeting, the sides also discussed a number of projects to be implemented by the ARS. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation also visited a number of Armenian media editorial offices in America, where Deputy PM Aghabekyan and Archbishop Martirosyan answered the questions of journalists.
This year the National Endowment Telethon will take place on November 24.
