On December 13, Chairman of the Parliament of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ashot Ghoulyan paid a working visit to Paris, France, press service of the NKR Parliament told.
Ashot Ghoulyan holds meetings in Paris
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 14, ARTSAKHPRESS: On the first day of the visit Ashot Ghoulyan had a meeting with French MP, Vice-Chairman of France-Karabakh friendship circle Guy Tessier. The cooperation projects between the friendship circles of the NKR and France were discussed and the upcoming actions were outlined at the meeting.
Thereafter, Ashot Ghoulyan visited the Armenian Embassy in France and met Ambassador Vigen Chitechyan. The NKR Parliament Speaker highly appreciated the current level of mutual cooperation of the Embassy and the NKR Permanent Representation in France. They also discussed the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the context of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and solution of regional issues.
A group of the Armenian community representatives of France were awarded with Medals of “Gratitude” for their contribution to the restoration and development of the NKR’s economy, science, culture, social sector and the NKR’s international recognition.
Ashot Ghoulyan congratulated them and highly appreciated the role of Diaspora, in particular, that of the French-Armenians on assisting the NKR’s development.
NKR Permanent Representative in France Hovhannes Gevorgyan accompanied Ashot Ghoulyan in all meetings and discussions held in Paris.
