After the events that occurred in April 2016, engineering works at the frontline as well as the replenishment with armaments have accelerated, Republic of Artsakh Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander Levon Mnatsakanyan told Hetq news agency, reports NEWS.am.
Mnatsakanyan: Karabakh snipers are several times better trained than Azerbaijanis
STEPANAKERT, MARCH 22, ARTSAKHPRESS: In his words, even though such activities were carried also in the past, Azerbaijan’s military aggression last April accelerated the pace of these activities.
“Accordingly, we made changes in the methodology of training of military servicemen,” added Mnatsakanyan.
He stressed that the Artsakh snipers are several times better trained than their Azerbaijani counterparts.
Speaking about the weapons that Azerbaijan purchased, he noted that mastering a weapon is one thing, whereas actually using it is completely different.
“Their use of arms coefficient is [solely] 0.2 to 0.3 percent,” added Levon Mnatsakanyan.
