STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 21, ARTSAKHPRESS: They carry out free consultations and examinations in "Arevik" children's hospital and the Republican Medical Center since August 15. In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, the head of the union and pediatrician Hasmik Aharonyan noted that the visit was prepared for a year.

“From 50 students we have chosen only 8 ones, those who have richer experience and knowledge.

Some students are concentrated on the field of surgery, others on pediatrics and therapy," said H. Aharonyan and added that they also read lectures for the local partners, which relate to modern pediatric and surgical approaches.

Gohar Movsisyan, a pediatrician working at the Moscow’s “National Research Center of Children’s Health”, said the main goal of the visit is to bring their children to Artsakh.

"I was born in Stepanakert, but I live and work in Moscow. I have come to Artsakh with my colleagues and I think that our visit will help to improve children’s health condition, "said Movsisyan and noted that they have examined children with different problems.

“The Armenian Medical Scientific Union" was founded in 2015. It is a platform for uniting Armenian students and doctors in Moscow.
