“I am very glad to be in the Republic of Artsakh and to have an opportunity to personally get acquainted with people and their problems,” Lars Patrick Berg, Member of the Baden-Württemberg Regional Parliament, member of the Alternative for Germany (AfG) party said in an interview with “Artsakhpress.”

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 2, ARTSAKHPRESS: "During my two-day visit to Artsakh, I had important meetings with government and public representatives. I think that cooperation with Artsakh is not only necessary, but also should not be limited with private visits of different politicians. I will surely say about it in the meetings with my colleagues, " he said and added that during his visit he was convinced that there is little or no information about Artsakh in Germany.
As Lars Patrick Berg said, during the two-day visit he saw developing, peaceful, safe country, which, however, has a conflict with Azerbaijan. "When I wanted to visit Artsakh, my friends in Germany advised me to give up that idea. They insisted that it is dangerous and they expressed various concerns.
But I saw completely another reality and I was convinced that I am in a safe country. Artsakh has a wonderful nature where very kind people live. I will be back with my family again,” he concluded.
