The creation of a New Year “town” in Renaissance Square in the capital city of Stepanakert will enable people to spend their holidays creatively.

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 15, ARTSAKHPRESS:Minister of Culture, Youth Affairs and Tourism, Sergey Shahverdyan said the aforementioned during a press conference.
He noted that besides the traditional events held every year, this year people will have the opportunity to do their holiday shopping in the wooden houses installed on the Renaissance Square.
''Residents of bordering villages can sell their handmade souvenirs there,'' Sergey Shahverdyan said.
The minister noted that overall there will be 16 such houses on the square.
One of the houses will be for little one, where they can make Christmas toys under the supervision of skilled teachers.
In Sergey Shahverdyan's words, the festive events will start on December 18, and the establishment of the New Year “town'' will be marked by parade.
