Some roadways are partly icy in the territory of Armenia as of 8:00am December 19, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Black ice reported on some roads
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 19, ARTSAKHPRESS:No precipitation is expected in the country on 19 December, while on the second half of December 20, on 21-23 in the most regions from time to time precipitation is predicted.
According to the source, black ice has taken hold on some sections of Sotk-Karvachar highway and Vardenyats pass.
Based on the predicted unfavorable weather conditions, the drivers are strictly recommended to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
