The objective for allocating about 300 million drams (approx. $US624,000) to Geokosmos company from the government reserve fund is to expand Armenia’s intelligence capabilities by way of space technology.

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 22, ARTSAKHPRESS:Artsrun Hovhannisyan, spokesperson for the Minister of Defense, on Friday told the aforementioned to NEWS.am, as he commented on the respective government decision on Thursday.
He stressed, however, that this is a secret project, and therefore he cannot say anything more that what is noted in the government decision.
“I believe quite a lot of things have been said in the decision,” added Hovhannisyan.
In this decision, it is noted that its expected result will be the ensuring of conditions for conducting operational intelligence activities.
