Tbilisi International Airport was unable to take eight flights during the night due to a strong fog, Sputnik Georgia reports quoting a statement of the airport.

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 8, ARTSAKHPRESS: Five flights from Istanbul to Tbilisi, and one flight from Dubai, Munich and Baku were cancelled.
Since the aircraft could not land at the Tbilisi airport, passengers failed to fly out of Tbilisi in the opposite direction.
In the direction of Tbilisi, flights from Tel Aviv, Moscow, Doha, Kiev and Urumqi were detained.
