Black ice is observed on number of roadways in the territory of Armenia as of 9:30 a.m., January 30, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reported.

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 30, ARTSAKHPRESS:According to the source, black ice has taken hold on some sections of Dilijan-Vanadzor, Goris-Sisian and Goris-Kapan highways. Cleaning operations are underway along the roads.

All interstate and republican roads in the territory of Armenia are open.

Stepantsminda-Lars highway that crosses the Russian - Georgian border through the Lars checkpoint is closed for all types of vehicles as of morning, the ministry reported citing the information provided by the Roads Department of Georgia's Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
