STEPANAKERT, MARCH 1, ARTSAKHPRESS: As Artsakhpress correspondent informs, initiative belongs to the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Association of Artsakh.

Artsakh Minister of Economy and Industrial Infrastructures, Levon Grigoryan, said that such initiatives in Artsakh and abroad allow to present local products.

“No doubt local production is preferable. It is the base for socio-economic development of the economy.

I want to congratulate the authors of the initiative. Artsakh Government and authorities of the country constantly keep at the spotlight the normal operation of existing programs and support them. Besides they participate in the implementation of new programs,’’ Levon Grigoryan said, in particular.

President of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Association of Artsakh and director of the Artsakh Berry factory, Erik Mkrtumyan, said the idea arose during meetings with members of the association, who expressed desire to have such a store in Artsakh where all the products of Artsakh manufacturers would be presented.

The objective is to unite the producers and create conditions for selling their products. The store also aims at allowing tourists to buy those products of Artsakh that they need from one store,’’ President of the association said, adding that production of 35 Artsakh companies is represented at the store at the moment.

Assortments of Shushi’s technological university’s canned

products are represented in

separate pavilion in the store.

Rector Hovhannes Toqmajyan said

products are Artsakh grown.

He informed that the whole assortment is ecologically clean.
