Artsakh State Minister, NSW premier participate in the event of Armenian Missionary Association

On March 18 Artsakh Minister of State, Arayik Harutyunyan, who is in Australia on a working visit, participated in the ceremony of Armenian Missionary Association (AMA) in Sydney together with New South Wales (NSW) premier Gladys Berejiklian.

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 19, ARTSAKHPRESS:As Information and Public Relations Department of the Artsakh State Minister’s Office informs, following the event Arayik Harutyunyan and Gladys Berejiklian exchanged thoughts on Fatherland-Diaspora relations.

The State Minister also participated in the dinner party dedicated to the 100th anniversary of AMA.

Arayik Harutyunyan visited St. Harutyun Armenian church in Sydney, where he was received by Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Australia and New Zealand Bishop Haigazoun Najarian.

The interlocutors reflected on strengthening of Homeland-Diaspora ties. The State Minister next participated in holy liturgy.

On 19 March Arayik Harutyunyan visited “Alexander” College of Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and Hamazkayin’s “Arshak and Sophie Golsten” Seminary and got acquainted with the conditions of the educational hearths. He praised the role of educational institutions in Diaspora.

During the meetings Artsakh State Minister is accompanied by Artsakh's Permanent Representative to Australia, Kaylar Michaelian.
