On Monday, opening ceremony of a khachkar and a drinking fountain built in memory of April War hero Suren Melkumyan fallen during the April War in 2016 took place in Tumi community of the Hadrut region.

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 2, ARTSAKHPRESS:As Artsakhpress correspondent informs, the khachkar and the drinking fountain have been built by the financial means of Russian-based Armenian philanthropist Davit Martorosyan and his friends.
Spiritual shepherd priest Tevos Dravantsi served a consecration ceremony at the event.
Head of the Hadrut regional administration, Ivan Avanesyan, villagers, companions in arms and others were present at the opening ceremony.
