The BBC News: Armenian children are offered a free high-tech education
STEPANAKERT, MARCH 30, ARTSAKHPRESS: “Armenia’s landlocked position in the South Caucasus has hampered its attempts to expand its economy, since it declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991,” the report stated and added: “It has led the Armenian authorities to investigate new technology and online industries as a way of creating wealth.”
The reporter presented, in detail, the capital city Yerevan-based Tumo Center for Creative Technologies, where children get free IT education.
The report also spoke about the prospects for IT development in Armenia.
