17-year-old IM Tigran Harutyunian (Armenia) took the first prize at the “World Young Stars” Tournament that was held in Kirishi, Russia. Harutyunian scored 8 points out of 11, as much as another Armenian chess player – 16-year-old IM David Paravyan (Russia) but Tigran was ahead by the tie-break.

17-year-old IM Tigran Harutyunian (Armenia) took the first prize at the “World Young Stars” Tournament that was held in Kirishi, Russia. Harutyunian scored 8 points out of 11, as much as another Armenian chess player – 16-year-old IM David Paravyan (Russia) but Tigran was ahead by the tie-break. 14-year-old FM Haik Martirosyan shared 6th-7th places with 6 points.
