On October 27, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, departed for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 27, ARTSAKHPRESS: As the Information Services of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin informed, His Holiness Karekin II together with Bishop of London Richard Chartres will preside over the commemoration ceremony dedicated to the memory of the newly canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide in 1915. The ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey on Oct. 28.
His Holiness Karekin II will be accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department of Mother See and Rev. Fr. Karekin Hambardzumyan, Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of the Mother See.
