STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 12, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: “Announcements were made by the heads of CSTO member-states, foreign ministers and other officials in connection with the situation in the Caucasus. It is surprising for me when individual members of the Armenian media claim that the CSTO is not responding,” Bordyuzha said. He added that a month ago, when giving interview to one of the Russian TV channels, commenting on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict he noted that the escalation of tension on the contact line and on Armenian-Azerbaijani border is inadmissible. “In this regard, I believe that the statements are sufficient and nothing affects our organization's reputation,” the official added.

Bordyuzha noticed they always carry out the monitoring of the situation, as stipulated in the annual reports. But the position over Nagorno karabakh conflict is clear. “All CSTO members are in favor of solution of the conflict by political means, through peaceful way. All countries are opposed to the application of heavy equipment and the aggravation of the situation.”
