Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia are scheduled to meet in Moscow during the CIS Foreign Ministers’ Council session.
CIS MFA session kicks off in Moscow: Lavrov – Nalbandian meeting scheduled
STEPANAKERT, APRIL 8, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: The session is taking place amid the escalation of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and obviously this issue will also be discussed. The CIS MFA Council’s session includes 10 points in the agenda, which are related to various cooperation directions.
As previously informed by the Russian MFA, “the Ministers will speak about cooperation prospects among CIS countries, will discuss international policy issues and will review the 2015 consultation plan and confirm the 2016 relevant program”.
In the context of the 25th anniversary of cooperation the Ministers will “discuss directions of further development of effectiveness of the CIS and regional multilateral ties”, “Special attention will be paid to humanitarian sphere and strengthening of cooperation in legislative areas,” the MFA said.
