STEPANAKERT, APRIL 27, ARTSAKHPRESS: Martakert Mayor, Misha Gyurjyan told  the aforesaid, adding that  in the morning together with the architect they have already toured and recorded effects by the opponent.

“Unfortunately we have again recorded damages caused by Azerbaijani shelling. More than 20 houses have been damaged. Now with the architect we are inventorying the damages,"said Gyurjian, adding that now the situation in Martakert is calm.

The Director of the school of the village Nerkin Horatagh, Melanya Davtyan informed that at the same period the Azerbaijani troops kept the village under heavy fire.

Artsakhpress learnt that fortunately there are no casualties among the villagers.

“Last night  Mataghis was also shelled by  the Azerbaijani armed forces,” the school director  of the village Gegham Aghajanyan informed and added that one house has been partially damaged.

Azerbaijani forces continued intense ceasefire violations overnight April 26-27. Fierce ceasefire violations occurred in the northeastern part of the contact line. Martakert, Nerkin Horatagh and other civilian settlements were shelled by Azerbaijani forces.
