Seyran Ohanyan receives Ambassador of Iran to Armenia

STEPANAKERT, MAY 4, ARTSAKHPRESS:  The interlocutors discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and regional security.

Armenian Foreign Minister informed the Iranian Ambassador the agreements over Armenian-Iranian military cooperation reached with his counterpart during the meeting in Moscow. At the Ambassador’s request, Seyran Ohnayan presented the situation in Nagorno Karbakh and the aggressive military attacks unleashed by Azerbaijan in recent days.

Ambassador Sajjadi, for his part, expressed his concern by the respective present-day situation, and expressed readiness to exert all efforts to maintain peace and stability. Also, the Iranian diplomat underscored the development of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, too.
