On July 8 in the evening the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan , who is on a working visit in Poland within the framework of the NATO summit , met with theUS Secretary John Kerry . At the beginning of the meeting the Armenian President expressed his condolences to the US Secretary of State in connection with the tragedy in Dallas .

STEPANAKERT, JULY 9, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Armenian President and the US State Secretary discussed the Karabakh settlement . Sargsyan highly appreciated the constant efforts of the United States, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, directed at providing peace and stability in the region .
Sargsyan once again thanked Kerry for effective steps taken to settle the situation caused by the April aggression provoked by Azerbaijan against Karabakh . As a consequence of those steps, there were held meetings in Vienna and St. Petersburg and adopted joint statements.
Sargsyan and Kerry discussed the issues discussed in a telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States on July 6 . The parties stressed the importance of unconditional implementation of the agreements reached in Vienna and St. Petersburg.
