Speaker of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ashot Ghulyan regards as made-up talks about “land for status.”

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 2, ARTSAKHPRESS: Although such talks have always been in circulation, Mr Ghulyan said:
“We could find the right opportunities due to our democratic wisdom. I think such talk are aimed a causing doubts in society. In this respect, I think the Artsakh people is standing firm on its ground,” as Tert.am reports, Mr Ghulyan stated in Stepanakert.
Speaking of the NKR’s achievements, Mr Ghulyan said:
“This popular holiday and festive moods in Stepanakert and throughout Artsakh are evidence that the people are well aware of the way they have passed during the 25 years. And I am sure that our statehood with all its attributes is the most important thing.”
Speaking of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, Mr Ghulyan said that the negotiating process is not too active.
“It seemed to intensify after the four-day war, but the reason was to stabilize the situation. Although some consultations are in progress now, and I think the sides, though they are pushing their positions, there appears to be a generally political situation. But I am sure that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not the only reason.”
