STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 19, ARTSAKHPRESS: Flora Aharonyan, the representative of Matenadaran, informed the aforementioned, adding that exhibition hall presents over 100 Artsakhi manuscripts dating from early Middle Ages to modern times, unique originals and copies of the documents related to the history of Artsakh, as well as ancient books. Works on the creation of this exhibition started seven years ago and according to Aharonyan, exhibition related works will go on. "Matenadaran also has a section devoted to Artsakh archival documents, where letters of Gandzasar Church leaders, samples of books published in Shushi are kept,” said Aharonian.

 “In  summer  about 80-300 people visit Matenadaran daily. In June we had 462 visitors weekly, in July- 4800 visitors , and in August we had 3100 visitors, 1464 of them were soldiers. In September we had 1,000 visitors. In "Gandzasar” scientific-cultural center there are many manuscripts about Artsakh where Artsakh is presented by historical facts and documents. Many of them you cannot find in Mashtots Matenadaran in Yerevan,” said Aharonyan.

Remind, Gandzasar” scientific-cultural center as a branch of Mashtots Matenadaran in Artsakh was opened on November 21, 2015.
