The opening day of the Republic Christmas tree is already known
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 5, ARTSAKHPRESS: Holiday panels as well as lighting effects have already been installed in some streets, and on the central Renaissance Square the decorating works of the main Christmas tree are started.
In the interview with the correspondent of "Artsakhpress" the city Deputy Mayor Armen Hakobyan informed that this year the Mayor’s office of Yerevan also supports with the issue of lighting design and lighting effects works.
According to the Deputy Mayor’s information, the central Christmas tree opening ceremony is planned for December 17, at 17:00 and the main holiday events will take place on December 31. "In the morning of that day, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden will tour the streets and neighbourhoods of Stepanakert and congratulate the children, giving them gifts," said Armen Hakobyan, adding that the concert will take place at the Renaissance Square, which will be completed with fireworks.
