A serviceman of Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Army was wounded in gunfire in an eastern military unit defense post on Monday night.

STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 17, ARTSAKHPRESS: A misuse of firearms is reported to be the cause of the incident. The serviceman is identified as Gurgen H Sargsyan, 19.
A probe has been launched into further circumstances.
In its press release issued Tuesday morning, the Ministry also says that the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact over 60 times on the night of Tuesday, releasing 680 gunshot against the Armenian defense troops.
The advance military units of the Defense Army keep the situation on the frontline under control, continuing their military vigil.
