"National Song and Dance” Subject will be taught at Artsakh schools
STEPANAKERT, JUNE 8 , ARTSAKHPRESS: “In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, the Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs of Artsakh, Narine Aghabalyan said that they discussed and have come to an agreement with Slava Asryan, the Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Artsakh, to include “ National Song and Dance” subject in school program, adding that since September of the current year this subject will be taught in an number of schools of Artsakh.
“During summer, we will organize training courses of relevant professionals,” she said and noted that the aim of the program is to transmit national values to the younger generation.
In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, Slava Asryan said that the new subject will be taught in the 5th and 7th classes. “ Probably this subject will be included in a number of Stepanakert and regional schools. This subject also will be financed by means of the state budget,” he said.
