STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 28, ARTSAKHPRESS: As informs “Artsakhpres”, Karen Shahramanyan, the Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Artsakh, said during the legislative-executive questions-answers procedure of the sixth session of Artsakh Republic NA sixth convocation.
"I was in Moscow upon the instruction of the President. I had meetings with the representatives of the “Tashir” Charitable Foundation. They have undertaken to finance the construction of a new cultural center in the same place. It is already a week that the construction works have begun," the Minister of Urban Development said.
As K. Shahramanyan informs, it will be a complex building which will have a 630-seat concert hall. We plan to use the hall for theatrical performances as well, because the theater building has not been renovated yet.
A 100-seat movie house is also planned. It will have modern coulisses, dressing rooms. The complex will also have a café. There will be outdoor cinema, concrete parking spaces. It is envisaged to complete the works within 2-3 years.
