Insurance system will ensure compensation of agricultural damages
On March 29, Prime Minister of Artsakh Republic Ara Haroutyunyan visited Togh and Tumi villages of Hadrut region to have a meeting with the local population and listen to the reports of the regional administration heads.
According to the reports, the village of Togh has a school with favourable conditions, a kindergarten, an art school and other infrastructures. From this viewpoint the key acquisition is the construction of water supply system. In the community function winery and macaroni factory.
As NKR Government Information and Public Relations Department informed “Artsakhpress” the Prime Minister mentioned that recently considerable works had been done in the village of Togh for providing necessary infrastructures and community’s economic development. He was satisfied with the results of grain yield. Ara Haroutyunyan attached importance to reconstruction works of Togh’s melik palace, which will promote stream of tourists towards the community creating a new source of income. Speaking about resurfacing of inner-community roads he promised to give material and technical means and appealed to carry out reconstruction works with combined efforts of the communities.
According to the report of Tumi’s community head, the inhabitants are engaged in cattle-breeding, cultivation and bee-keeping. The head of the community marked out dilapidated state of water supply system and sad state of the school building. The Prime Minister mentioned that according to the President’s pre-election program, water supply system will be constructed till 2017. The head of the Government visited the construction site of the kindergarten and got acquainted with the process of construction.
The inhabitants of the villages raised the issue concerning the prices of meat products; the cattle is procured by the resellers at low prices. Ara Haroutyunyan advised to use the method of co-operative sale avoiding low prices of resellers.
In answer to the question of antihail station the Prime Minister said that the only solution of this issue is the instillation of insurance system in the agricultural sphere which will ensure compensation of agricultural damages.
Then Ara Haroutyunyan visited the fields of Mariamadzor to get acquainted with digging of artesian well implemented by state project. The minister of agriculture Andranik Khachatryan and the head of Hadrut regional administration Valery Gevorgyan accompanied the Prime Minister.
