The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reports that there are hardly passable roads in the territory of Armenia as of 09:45, December 8.

Sotk-Karvachar road closed

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 8, ARTSAKHPRESS:According to the source, snow is expected in the majority of the regions on December 8, while no precipitation is expected on December 9-11. Sotk-Karvachar road is closed. Vardenyats pass is hardly passable, black ice is observed on the roads of Kotayk, Shirak, Lori and Syunik regions

Fog is observed in Hrazdan town of Kotayk region with precipitation in the form of snow.
Fog is reported in Goris town of Syunik region.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions the drivers are strictly recommended to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.

Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for heavy trucks.
