“Diakonia” charitable fund supports needy families of Artsakh
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 20, ARTSAKHPRESS:In an interview with Artsakhpress the founder of “Diakonia” charitable foundation, Paruyr Jambazyan, said that they have brought to Artsakh about 1000 boxes of food each weighting 16 kg.
“With the money from this year’s fundraising organized by the fund in Holland we tried to provide support for the needy families of Artsakh. Оur fund has been supporting Armenia for 29 years. This is the second year that Artsakh is included in the action,'' Paruyr Jambazyan said. He added that they want to implement development programs in Artsakh.
Head of Public Relations Department of the Artsakh Ministry of Labour, Social Affiars and Resettlement; Samvel Israelyan, said that 588 boxes have been given to families having 5 and more children, 412 — to the ones having disabled children.
