Community center opened in Talish

On May 20 solemn ceremony of the launch of “Renaissance of Talish” project took place in Martakert region’s Talish community. It was marked with the opening of Talish’s community center.

STEPANAKERT, MAY 20, ARTSAKHPRESS:The center has been constructed by the means of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, and with the financing from philanthropist, Andranik Baghdasaryan.  The multifunctional community center, which was built after the four-day war, includes both the administrative part and the first-aid station with additional rooms.

As ArtsakhPress correspondent informed, Artsakh President, Bako Sahakyan, philanthropist, Andranik Baghdasaryan, and the delegation of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund headed by the executive director, Ara Vardanyan, other officials, people of Talish and guests were present at the solemn opening ceremony.

They laid flowers at the monument eternalizing the memory of the Armenian people fallen during the Artsakh liberation war. Then the solemn opening ceremony of the community center was held.

President, Bako Sahakyan, attached importance to the initiative and added that this is the manifestation of our united power.

Executive director of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, Ara Vardanyan, thanked the main sponsor of “Talish’s Renaissance” project, philanthropist, Andranik Baghdasaryan.

Member of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund, Andranik Baghdasaryan, noted that he is glad to see the implemented work and promises to do everything for the Artsakh’s enrichment.

Summing up the construction works implemented in Talish in the first phase, Artsakh Urban Development Minister, Karen Shahramanyan, said that , overall, about 19 residential houses have been renovated and the construction of another 17 are underway.

Head of the Talish community, Vilen Petrosyan, thanked the foundation on behalf of the community’s population. He said that owing to the donations gathered during the all-Armenian tele-marathon, Talish has become the republic’s number one construction site.

Pupils of Talish’s schools danced at the solemn ceremony of the project.

Together with representatives of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund and the people of Talish, Bako Sahakyan got acquainted with the conditions of the community center and the newly opened hall for ceremonies.
