January 10, NKR Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan held a working meeting on a wide range of issues in the field of agricultural development.
The Department of Information and Public Relations of the government of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic informed Artsakhpress. According to the agenda NKR Minister of Agriculture A. Khachatryan presented the process aimed at the development and implementation of subregional projects and the upcoming events in 2014.Heads of regional administrations provided summary information of the work carried out in 2013. Issues were considered related to the fight against rodents, preparation for spring field work, expansion due to artesian springs irrigation systems. The Prime Minister instructed
heads of regional administrations for more active struggle against rodents in certain areas: Hadrut, Martuni, Kashatagh regions, as well as to explore opportunities in irrigated farmland for vegetable crops.
