Last year the Artsakh State Museum of History and Country Study had 16,152 visitors, 3974 of them from abroad.
Artsakh State Museum of History and Country Study recorded an increase in the number of visitors
STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 3, ARTSAKHPRESS: Melania Balayan, the director of the Artsakh State Museum of History and Country Study, said the aforementioned in an interview with Artsakhpress and noted that in 2014 the museum had 15, 985 visitors, 5473 of them from abroad.
“We have visitors from around the world, including the USA, Holland, France, Poland, England, Japan, China, Australia. The number of visitors from Diaspora and the Republic of Armenia is also great,” noted Balayan, adding that the vast majority of the visitors is from USA.
“The visitors’ aim is to learn the Artsakh’s history and culture. The number of the tourists who are interested in diplomatic, political Artsakh’s conflict issues is little,” noticed the director, adding that the tourists want to get objective and true information being in Artsakh.
