STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 28, ARTSAKHPRESS: Karen Shahramanyan, Minister of Urban Planning of NKR, said the above-said in an interview with “Artsakhpress” and noted that the decision was made, first of all, taking into account the opinion of Talish residents.

"During the meetings with Talish residents who settled in Alashan after April events, the authorities offered them to return to their village. In this regard, certain security guarantees were given, and 10-12 people have already returned to their native village and now live there," said Karen Shahramanyan.

The minister also informed that all the infrastructures are restored in Talish. "It refers to electricity, water, night lighting. We began the reconstruction works of new school and celebrations house, as well as the construction of new kindergarten. Builders are provided with all necessary conditions for the large-scale reconstruction works.

We expect that the school and kindergarten will work since September 1. We will build new homes or thoroughly rebuilt old ones," explained Karen Shahramanyan.

To the question whether it is safe to live in the village, Minister of Urban Planning of NKR said that Mataghis village and Martakert town are on the same position, the same distance from the border, but people live there. "The buildings that we are building and rebuilding are in relatively safe and secure zone in the village. For safe life, we take other measures, "said the minister.

According to the minister, along with the restoration of Talish, they will continue creating conditions for living in Alashan, but the main investments will be directed to Talish.
