STEPANAKERT, APRIL 3, ARTSAKHPRESS: “The enemy is trying to destabilize the situation and intrude into the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh in certain places. But all of their aggressive and terrorist actions are being prevented,” Mr Babayan said.

But the local population is not in panic.

“When a crucial moment comes, Artsakh turns into a unique place. Ad it is the case now. Azerbaijan is going to suffer such a crushing defeat soon that it will remember it for a long period,” he added.

As regards international response to the situation, Mr Babayan said that it is the beginning and the calls are obviously being addressed to both the conflicting parties.

“I hope that Azerbaijan is being implicitly given to understand that its actions are unacceptable. I believe that stronger-worded public statements need to be addressed to the terrorists,” Mr Babayan said.
