STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 24, ARTSAKHPRESS:On Wednesday Artsakh Defense Minister, Levon Mnatsakanyan, said the abovementioned during his press conference. He noted that taking into accounts military operations occurred in April of 2016, number of incidents registered in 2017 was compared with that of 2015. The number of incidents has increased by 1, however, losses reduced by 9. Number of injuries dropped by 116.
Answering the question of Artsakhpress correspondent concerning measures taken by the army in 2017 to exclude cases of homicide resulting from interpersonal relations, Levon Mnatsakanyan said that for this purpose they observe soldiers after the draft and appoint the right person to a post.
“We are working in this direction. We try to involve law enforcement bodies in the process, in particular, military police and investigation service,’’ the Minister said.
