Adoption of new Constitution the most important event of the year — Artsakh Minister of Justice held a press conference
STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 26, ARTSAKHPRESS:As Artsakhpress correspondent informs the most important event of the year was the adoption of new Constitution. ''After the constitutional referendum held on February 20 two indexes have been worked out. One of the indexes has 39, the other 42 bills. These bills are to be coordinated with the new Constitution within three years,'' Ararat Danielyan said. He added that a number of constitutional norms have already started functioning. The Highest Judicial Council was formed.
Ararat Danielyan also noted that after the adoption of the new Constitution the Ministry printed brochures, which via regional bookstores were distributed among citizens.
Summing up the year past, Mr. Danielyan said that in 2017 efficient protection of human rights and freedom was among the key issues of the Ministry.
