Owing to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, Vardenis-Martakert highway, which is of strategic importance, was put into operation in 2017. A number of projects of community significance have been carried out.
Hayastan All-Armenian Fund continues implementing projects of strategic and economic significance in Artsakh
STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 8, ARTSAKHPRESS:TThe coordinator for the projects carried out by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in Artsakh, Valery Ghazaryan, told Artsakhpress that the exploitation of Vardenis-Martakert highway gives an opportunity to develop the socio-economic condition of the nearby regions. The operation of Vardenis-Martakert highway not only significantly reduces time and distance but also allows strengthening inter-community relations and contributes to the economic development of the nearby regions.
In 2017 community centers were put into operation in Kochoghot village, Martakert region; Sargsashen village, Martuni region and Qyuratagh village in Hadrut region.
Among the completed projects are the buildings of Oncology Center in Stpanakert and Culture Center in Shushi.
As for the families having many children, Valery Ghazaryan said that 13 families have been provided with houses. Ten houses are being constructed.
A new school building is being constructed in Ukhtadzor community, Hadrut region.
Owing to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, large-scale construction works are being carried out in Talish village, Martakert region.
The construction works of a number of community centers are underway.
Among the fund’s projects for 2018 will also be the reconstruction of the Artsakh State University’s main building.
