A 36-year-old Scottish tourist has died during a tour on an elephant in Thailand.

Scottish tourist killed by elephant in Thailand

STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 2, ARTSAKHPRESS: The man was taking an elephant tour with his 16-year-old daughter.

During the tour they decided to take photographs, but the elephant unexpectedly got angry and hit the tourist several times, and the man died from the respective injuries.

The elephant’s handler also was injured, according to TASS news agency of Russia.

The tourist’s daughter, however, was not injured.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident.

According to some information, the cruel treatment by the elephant handler could have affected the animal.
